I have 4 new guinea keets and I have not seen them eat or drink….. I am using the same dishes that I have been using with my chicks and turkeys. I have dipped their beaks in the water dish and I even took the top off the food container, but it seems that they are always laying in the same spot. If I put my hand in the brooder they do get up and run and chirp…..I guess Im just so use to chicks being up running around and pecking/eating and they are not doing that. Is this normal?????

Did you just get them? You should probably pick one up and check his/her crop, if it's full then they are eating. I wouldn't worry about it.

I got them yesterday. Never thought of checking their crop!!! They are so tiny! I have placed a puppy pad down over the pine chips and spread some crumble out on that too. I guess Im just so use to chicks running around.
