I find that anything that depends on the egg itself for flavor, that the duck eggs are just a hair... um, I dunno, maybe 'gamy'. I use the duck eggs all the time for baking or for things like fritters or meatloaf, but for just fried or scrambled eggs, or a fritatta, I prefer our chicken eggs.
I always wondered if we just weren't feeding them for ideal eggs. Our chickens are bantams are are fed on a different ration.
