Eating eggs causes cancer?!

So, I must admit i was very disturbed when i read the research articles that found that eating more than 2 eggs a week raises our risk for colon, prostate, and ovarian cancer! Just 2 eggs a week! I couldn't believe it. I thought eggs were so nutritious, full of vitamins and minerals and then i read this news. I am very worried now since we eat 3 or 4 eggs per person every day. Can anyone who has been eating eggs regularly for most of their life share your experience? Have you or an egg-eating family member had a cancer diagnosis? My grandparents were chicken farmers, and my grandpa had prostate cancer. My coworker's husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer in his 50s and he had eaten 4 eggs daily as well. Please share your experiences. How many eggs eaten daily or weekly for how many years? Type of cancer or no cancer? Thank you.

Here are a few examples...

Research from 1994...

Please post links to these research articles that drew these conclusions that have you so worried. I'd also like to know who sponsored the research.
I for one think it's nonsense. So often many of the conclusions that are drawn from non-scientifically conducted "research" do not analyze ALL the data. I know of a man who died of prostate cancer in his early fifties that was allergic to eggs and never ate them. I guess that data point negates this anti-egg research.

ETA: Just a quick scan of the summary findings in one of the studies stated that the choline in eggs it the causative factor.
Another study I found stated that the choline in eggs is a supernutrient that is vital to brain and cognitive health.
I found these contrary conclusions quite funny.
I'm going to continue pounding down the eggs, 2-3 a day, and never lose a wink of sleep over it! And my Alzheimer's afflicted partner will thank me for giving him the same!

You may find this article interesting. I’d like to see the articles you’re referencing also.

I guess I also want to mention humans have been eating eggs since the dawn of time. I think that says a lot.

If the chickens are eating good healthy things they'll produce good healthy eggs. Besides, cancer is never caused by just one thing unless a person eats pure carcinogens their entire life, which no one does. Air, water, lifestyle, stress, everything can add up over time. I say make your life as happy and healthy as you can and have peace about it. There's only so much a person can control in life, let the other stuff go and realize we're all going to the compost bin for some reason, some day. We lose the joy of today when we worry about tomorrow and things we cannot control.
