i have my chicks outside in a chicken tractor, and earlier today the knocked over their food onto the wet ground. Would that still be safe for them to eat? How quickly does that food mold?

What is the difference between chick starter and crumble?Do you feed them crumble if so it's fine my chicks throw it in the mud all the time it's totally safe
If it is crumble it's fine it won't mold easily just clean it up like in 3 days if they don't like it
Thank you.It will be fine. Takes at least a few days for it to start to go bad.
Thank you. What is the difference between chick starter and crumble?
Thank you MaryWelcome! As everyone said, it's fine.
Chick starter is the type of feed, different than layer, for example.
Crumble is the consistency of the feed. Mash is very fine, pellets are pressed and much larger, and crumble is crushed pellets, so in between the other two. Mary
