Eating Healthy

I hope its not too late to join you guys in this! I have been looking for an excuse to start my "lifestyle change"...your not supposed to call it a "diet". I am planning on eating healthier and being more active! I went in for my a Dr. appointment this past week and WOW! I really need to get started on this. Thanks for the inspiration. Can't wait to be held accountable for my actions!
 
Another day...

Breakfast :::

4 scrambled eggs

Well I started off well........lol

I went out of town to pick up some chickens I bought online. First stop was dunkin donuts. I was good... I had nothing !!!

A few hours later we stopped at a Ponderosa.

Suffice it to say I taste tested the majority of the items on the buffet...lol. A dollop of this, a tiny dab of that. (fish, shrimp, 3 wing dings, 2 french fries, salad, coleslaw, nacho chips, oreo fluff, banana bread, 3 meatballs, chocolate cake)

Here I go...

Breakfast: All Bran Complete Cereal with 1% Milk and a cup of coffee.

Lunch: a banana and a turkey and spinach sandwich on whole grain bread with 1 slice cheese and some pretzels. I also had a glass of water with lemon.

Dinner: Steak on the grill, Rice-a-Roni (my boys favorite), and carrots. I am cheating a little and having a diet pepsi. I have been trying to give it up. Its soooo hard!

I did "accidentally" grab a small handful of m&m's and shovel them in my mouth before I could stop myself. :eek:

I am so excited about this! I have my grocery list ready and am heading off to the store soon!

you people are a bad influence. I stooped to your level and had an egg white omelet with fresh broc, cauli, and onion. With my bucket of coffee of course

Ate a lot more than normal

Whole wheat & nut pancakes with butter & syrup
Homefries

3 cups of coffee

3 Doughnuts

5 Pieces of cheese pizza
Fried Calamari

1 shot tequila (High quality, not cheap)
2 Buds

Bottle of Pellegrino at bedtime


Am I fired?
 
Saturday, March 1st-

Breakfast:
1 slice of mushroom & spinach pizza
1 home made oatmeal chocolate chip cookie
Water

Snack:
2 home made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies
Water

Lunch:
1 slice of mushroom & spinach pizza
1 home made oatmeal chocolate chip cookie
12 oz Sugar Free Lemonade

Dinner: Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Water


Snack:1 home made oatmeal chocolate chip
More Water

Exercise:1 hour of snow shoveling


** The cookies should be gone by tomorrow evening, so maybe I will be able to behave!

Oh...Purple chicken reminded me... I did have my vodkas and Fresca, it's was Friday after all.

Breakfast: Coffees, and hard boiled egg.

Lunch: gyro without the pita bread, slaw and hot tea with cream

Dinner: eggsalad on lowcarb pita bread, vodka and fresca ( that was later on )
