Eating Healthy

March 5
Lunch: Salad with tuna, coffee
Snack: Almonds
Dinner: Veggie salad, water

March 6
Bfast: Cheese omelet, coffee
Snack: handful of cashews

Low carb/atkins is a very different kind of diet. Don't seem to be TOO hungry....

Breakfast Mar 6

1 slice low fat whole wheat
few slices leftover roast beef
enough mustard to drip out and ruin my jammies (but it didn't, cuz I ate over my plate

about half a boiled potato

Lunch

1 can tomato juice
3 pieces flat bread with garlic hummis
salad w/carrot, grapes and lettuce
low-fat cucumber dressing

Supper

Beef stew made with lean beef and no oil
slice of nut bread

Snack
popcorn

Bjcoop, I too have found that if I eat protein at each meal, I am not hungry! Works for me, I just make it lean, and make sure it doesn't fill up half my plate.

2% Greek yogurt w/cherries

1 cup whole grain brown rice
1/2 cup stir fry veggies w/paneer(Indian cheese)
1c cooked carrots

8 glasses water

Thursday 6th
to drink: herbal tea w/honey (1), ginger tea (1)

cup oatmeal w/ raisins
pickled egg, peanut butter snack ball, cornflakes w/milk
pickled egg, another pickled egg, sauteed zucchini, quiche

Friday 7th
to drink: herbal tea w/honey (2) water (1)

quiche, cranberry cake (2 pieces)
corn tortillas w/ black beans & salsa


Saturday 8th
to drink: herbal tea w/honey (2), water (1), lemonade (1)

deluxe scrambled eggs, skillet fried potatoes, plum

6 small pieces sushi
quinoa with olive oil and spices
1/2 cup chocolate covered ginger
small bagette
tea

9 p.m.
1 c. beef stew w veggies
1/2 c. green snap peas raw
1 c. rice with hot milk and maple syrup
