Eating Squirrels and Bugs--?

MMMM Fried squirrel with squirrel gravy and mashed potatoes ,fresh warm rolls and you got yourself a good dinner.

I use a 20ga single shot for rabbits/squirrels. Less of a chance of missing for squirrel atleast

Only problem is that their harder to skin but worth it!

my kids have eaten bugs...







the chef i was talking to about this said you shouldnt just take a bug off the ground and eat it... some may be sick or have diseases.. there are specific farm that breed these bug for human consumption

we have about 8 squirrels out in the freezer right now....

My DH loves squirrel dumplings. I like them on the grill. We wrap them in foil with butter, onions, bell peppers and salt and pepper, and slow cook em for hours. We do the same with rabbits. Soooo good! Tastes like chicken!!

I remember our parent's old friends down Louisiana went squirrel hunting and they BBQ the squirrels up. Told me it was chicken it was delicious! After I ate they told me I just eaten squirrel.
