eating the eggs??

ok so i have a RIR and she is sitting on a nest, but she leaves it periodically, like she cant decide if she wants to go broody or not. anyway, so when she leaves, a few other hens will lay eggs in her nest. so when she comes back, she pecks at the eggs and eats them, she only eats about 2 or 3 then goes back to sitting on them. what do i do?!

I would isolate her if you can. Sounds like she has a bad case of yummy egg fever. Keep an eye in her to see if she lays her own and then eats it. You might have to cull her.
