eatting from a crab apple tree..

i have several crab apple trees and wonder if the fruits, which are small, will hurt my chickens. i will be letting them go free range during the day and hope the crab apples are not harmful.

I don't see why that would be an issue as long as they had good regular feed available.

My chickens eat from the crabapple, the sweet apple, the peach and the fig trees. Also, some of them like the persimmons. No harm done to them.
