I just need to get this off my chest. I started selling on ebay in January. Made some extra cash which is nice of course. Anyhow, I just want to quit selling. I can't tell you how many times I've had a buyer win an auction and not pay for their items. And I've had buyers who didn't know how to use ebay and I spent a loong time trying to teach them. Or when a buyer has a specific request that is beyond my capabilities. Like today, I had a buyer purchase a couple items and I sent an invoice like I always do, to combine shipping. Now they are saying that he demands the shipping to be free (I can't, it weighs over two pounds, I'd lose money if I shipped it free). He says that other sellers ship his items free and I need to do the same or he's going to give me bad feedback which is currently at 100%. There are so many jerks on there that I actually hate even going on ebay anymore. It was fun at first, but now, not so much. Anybody else here a seller too and maybe frustrated like I am? I'm so over it.

I very briefly sold things on internet auction sites (not eBay), but found it not worth the hassle. I'm sticking to ordinary classifieds now.

give him whatever he wants its not worth the bad feedback if you dont... even if you lose money you are ahead in the long run... then complain to ebay after you have made him happy... also add him to your blocked list so he cant buy from u any more...

i once sent a lady 3 sets of quail eggs and refunded her money before she would leave good feedback lol... i dont sell much on ebay anymore...

Ive sold on an off of ebay for the past 17 years or so and have always had and still have, a 100% positive feedback.

However, that feedback has come with a price tag, so to speak. Ive had the same experiences as you.

I feel that buyers have it figured out how to get something cheap, free, or free shipping , so I call it a form

of Blackmail .

did you save the emails? ebay is actually pretty good about making sure that bad feedback is warranted. He knew that there was shipping on the items when he purchased them so he doesn't have a leg to stand on.

Report him to ebay if he refuses to pay. Then all the bad feedback goes on him :)

Don't fall for his blackmail! Keep the e-mails and report him to e-bay right a way.

Even if you get a bad feedback, there is a place to respond. And you can permanently block that buyer.

There is NO way that I would give in to that buyer...he knows exactly what hes doing. Don't let him take advantage!
