I have 4 bantam chicks I got from TSC who are outgrowing their indoor brooder quickly! I was going to put them in a brooder in the coop, separated from the others but within sight with the Brinsea ecoglow. Is the Ecoglow enough to keep them warm outside? Temps here are between low 30's at night & 60 daytime.

How old are your chicks? I used the eco glow inside of a box on its side (so it was a huddle box with the top, bottom, back & sides were enclosed to reduce/eliminate drafts) outdoors in the coop. Temps were in the 30’s and my chicks were 3-4 weeks old. They did great! I’d say if they aren’t feathered out yet, you may want to consider an alternative heat source or keep them indoors a bit longer.
