We either make our own bread or buy it at the salvage grocery store. I sometimes grind our own wheat and only buy 25 lb. bags of flour.

We don't eat out often.
We never vacation or do much of anything for fun
.
We brought our Dish Network package down to the most basic plus local channels. Giving it up altogether is not something I could handle being alone all the time.
We've kept old cars going instead of buying new, a 1985 pickup, 1985 two-door and 12-year-old SUV.
We never send any clothes out for dry-cleaning and I do repairs and some sewing.
We never turn down free venison.
There's still a lot we could do, but I have not given up my diet cola; nor dh his chips.
I've tried gardening here, but there is so much shade and the soil is poor.
