NO WAY I'd put a small child on that horse without a neck strap to hold onto for one, for the horse's sake, and make the kid lose his stirrups and work on a longe line as long as it took until he was off the pony's mouth and not hanging on with his heels. That is a very quality pony and it is a shame to see him go south like that from putting an unskilled, underdeveloped child on him and "see how they get along" for way too long. It is obvious how they get along. Badly. In a few clips that kid was at serious risk of getting killed, in my book. Until you've seen someone dragged to death or had their head crushed from being thrown and stepped on, maybe it doesn't seem like a real risk to some people. I find that video horrfying, not funny at all. Okay, some of his tiny bucks and gently unloading the kid at a standstill were cute and funny, but the rest was scary as hell to watch.
