I'm from the Rio Grande Valley... Edinburg/McAllen Texas Area.. anyone else in here from around these parts ?? I have 6 BYC and have just recently started getting eggs from them on Aug. 18th, 2012

I just saw your post. Thinking about 3-4 hens. You indicated McAllen - Edinburg area. was wondering do you live inside of McAllen? I read the city ordinance - still don't understand it but sort of appears that if someone complains then the hens have to find a new home. Any info you might provide would be appreciated.

I am from Zapata. I have about 60 chickens and ducks. Buff Orps; Speckled Sussex, a few brahmas, white rocks, white leghorns. Some Pekins, Muscovies, and white layers.

I'm from Harlingen, pretty new to the boards here and we have a juvenile flock of Bielefelders, 5 pullets and 4 boys... Nice to meet someone in our area here

I'm in weslaco! Don't have any chickens yet because of the city ordinance but I'm hoping to try and change that over some time.
