Ed's neck has been like this for several months. I posted about it a few months ago. It, very slowly, is getting worse. The feather shafts are sticking our in places like they are trying to grow back. We have found no mits, no lice, nothing I can think of that would cause it. If it's some kind of super slow late moult, why would his skin turn red? He's starting to resemble the Turken!

i have a few hens like this and a bantam rooster that has this on the inside of his thighs and some around the vent and belly. they look healthy otherwise. no sign of parasites. looks like some kind of skin disease thats causing the skin to be bright red. any idea what causes this?
