Well, Rocky is no more. After thinkin even harder for a bit I decided it just wasn't worth it.

I'm so glad my neighbour will do this sorta stuff for me....

I'llI think at some point when I find lowes buckets for cheap I will switch out the wood nest boxes, I hate trying to get the shavings out and clean them.

these are cool, take the fronts off and slip that stuff out and wipe clean.

I hate cleaning mine as well. The only reason I haven't gotten em out yet is that some bright guy built them into the coop

thanks! Its been flurrying since I got up on and off, although everything that sat overnight melted, still first snowfall last night.

I think you probably made the right decision. But it's never easy (esp. when you've spent some time trying to help/cure them.)
