I first learned the truth about Santa from a substitute teacher. She wanted to tell us a funny story that required non-believers.
She prefaced it by first asking, "There isn't anyone in here that still believes in Santa Clause is there?"
WHAT A MORON!!!
I looked around the room and I could tell there was a girl who was also as in shock as I was.
No one in that class believed after that day.

I so wanted to believe. I remember that moment but not the stupid story she wanted to share.

My experience is mostly with Angus and some Herefords. My nephew who raises Dexters has a farm near Carthage but I haven't been there.
I mentioned Dexters to my brother several years back and he told me his adopted son has them but that's all I know. I want to try to get down there to visit him and see the cattle too. Maybe if I get there before I butcher all these extra cockerels I can take one to Daxigait.

Plus eagles aren't Kosher.

do you still do gifts with kids or what is your holiday consist of?

Yea we still do presents but they know where everything came from and who bought it. They don't get a ton of things because they don't need a ton of things. If they got a lot of things then stuff would most likely never get played with. Typically we try to get them to give away some of there older toys before the holidays because they will be getting new toys. Helps to cut down on the amount of stuff they have, also helps them to spread the joy of giving away something.
