EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

No problem, Banti, thanks for telling me that. Yep, I'm looking for OEGB hatching eggs for next spring and would love to find in state eggs. As far as I know though, my flock is MG free so I appreciate you telling me that.

Right now I'm sitting here watching our oldest dog slowly die. She was fine this morning and this afternoon. Suddenly around supper time one of our youngest dogs started whining. Our 13 year old Schnauzer mix was laying in her favorite spot in front of the back door. Her bowels had let go, her hind legs are stiff, she can't stand, her pulse is 180. She is alert but obviously not her usual happy self. I don't know what has happened to her. Thank God she doesn't seem to be suffering. If she is still with us in the morning she will be taking her to the vet for the last time.

So hard to say good bye to a loyal and dear canine friend.

I am so sorry to hear this :(

I'm so so sorry. Went through that two years ago, and still choke up thinking about it.

I wonder if she got bitten or stung by something, or ate something, to have a sudden downturn like that. Will be thinking of you tonight, and tomorrow if she makes it and you take her for treatment.

:hugs x 1,000. I know the pain of loosing a faithful friend (horse, dog, whatever) there are no words and it leaves a hole, but I send a 'hug.'
