EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

its 23 temp outside
Where did the 95 come from?
23 isn't that cold for most chickens. It hit -19 F a couple years ago. Hens had no problems.

she also has mites and lice
Well that's your problem, not the cold. I thought you took care of that over a week ago.

You should do what was suggested last week. Until you do what was suggested, why ask for advice again?

We had about 200 of each species. I miss working there.

Good Morning (errr... Afternoon) all!

My goodness what a busy week it has been at my office. I don't remember if I ever even checked in yesterday.

I have some serious deadlines to meet for work, but I feel confident that things will be done soon. I'm currently waiting on someone else so I can finish my part and be done.

Baby girl was sick yesterday, but felt okay enough to go to school this morning, she is super excited about puppy day being tomorrow. I think even if she feels miserable she will be bouncing out of bed tomorrow morning!

I had a multi-quote and lost it, now I can't remember what I was going to comment on.

Hi Heather, Sorry work is so busy and your daughter was sick. Exciting news about the puppy though.

Very interesting!

You butcher your roosters @ 5 months; my three were 7/2 birds, just about 5 months
Who takes after who? Maybe I take after you since you're a little older.

Actually pool league is tonight (Thursdays) I just practice on Tuesdays occasionally.

Do you raise bees and ski too?

Ya got me on those two, thank goodness
