Cold and wet. Animals and family are all doing well though.Doing good. Growing like crazy. Thank you for asking. How are things in your neck of the woods?
Happened to 2 of my ducks and 3 of my guineas.... Hawk or owl.... always happened at night because the idiots wouldnt go in their coops.Sure was. Was going to process it, but DW's afraid the hawk (if that's what it was) might be carrying some disease that could have been spread throughout the carcass. What ya think?

Yea it would be nice if it would make up its mind, warm and rainy one day, cold and snowing the next.We have the wet part, cold is on its way. Still waiting on our first hard frost of the year but I think it will be coming this weekend. Warm winters make for bad mosquitos come spring and summer so I hope it turns cold for a bit.
There were SO. MANY. DUCKIES.I was dreaming about animal and people shapes cut out of the collards last night - would be so much fun!!! Thanks MC!!!And proud!

WEEBEEPERS. YES, I WILL LOVE THEM AND HUG THEM. I WANTS THEM ALL.
So sorry... My ducks looked like that when I found them; now thinking it was a mink that did it?Local TSC doesn't have it. I found this on my way out....down to 9 now, assuming none of the others got taken. What in the world would kill, in broad daylight (unless it happened last night before I put them up) and only eat the neck, leaving the rest untouched? Feathers scattered over a 10' area...one of my pullets. That's the head on the left, mostly intact

)I think weasel and Martins will do that same thing, ( they are all the same family, I think).
