We're running the woodstove overnight; no need during the day, so far.  I could get used to that.

We have started the heated here. Too bad I can't burn wood for heat. Wife's allergic. Dead and dying trees here all the time.

Wife made ham and beans last week. It was more like ham and find the bean. It was delicious but I wanted more beans so I cooked up some Asian red beans and white navy beans to mix in. It's perfect now.

Anyone know this ditty?

That's a really nice pond. Does it have natural water inlet or do you like we need to keep it filling with an outside source

It is spring fed

On the other side of the dam there is a nice creek trickling through the woods. It's relaxing to listen to the creek. However, we haven't had rain in about 2 months so the creek is pretty dried up.

That is the normal culprit, however he was stuck back in the cane along the fence line, almost like something reached through to get him and couldn't pull him through before I got up there.

my dad lost water this week, he had to have 500g delivered today
i think he will be needing to come to my house for showers, laundry etc soon though
we need rain really bad

i have lived in my house for almost 11 years and this is the first year the creek from the fire pond across the street to my house/pond/puddle has gone bone dry
