I'd like to get rid of some turtles before spring when I hatch more ducks and geese!

It is spring fed

On the other side of the dam there is a nice creek trickling through the woods. It's relaxing to listen to the creek. However, we haven't had rain in about 2 months so the creek is pretty dried up.

Wow that's ideal with the spring. We use the canal water. Of course there's a fee but worth it to keep pond up. Doesn't take much water to do so. I really need to get the pond back up and running.

Spring fed pond reminds me of the spring fed water fall we visited up north called Burney Falls

This site shows several, I've been to the Burney Falls. Incredible amount of water flows over that fall for being spring fed.

I just learned that from a friend who had 6 turtles hatch near her pond.

Bugs?

Ours die from rotting at the base. More than one oak will start forming a cluster tree and then the base collects water over time they fall.

Knew the bass would. I was sure the turtles ate fish just didn't think about ducklings.

Wind is kicking up. Storms brewing. Going out to see if I can turn the compost pile before it starts.
