Day 21 for me, but I have another WHOLE WEEK to go. I don't think I can make it.....

4 eggies are still looking great.

Lol. I know they can move, cause they do if I rotate the egg but they just seem to be too lazy on their own

Yep - I've had viable eggs that I NEVER caught moving - I always worry when a newbie posts thinking they should toss an egg because they can't see it move.   Veins, go by the veins, everyone...

Yup... I think that's why everyone says "DON'T CANDLE TILL DAY SEVEN, NEVER TOSS BEFORE 14" coz otherwise you've gotta spend several paragraphs drumming into their heads that no, just coz it there are no veins on day two doesn't mean it's infertile, and not all eggs move. Newbies (not you, Dan, you're good) seem to be too toss-happy IMO- It's not gonna explode if you just keep a nose out, so why risk it?

Wow - I just checked my records - I set my first eggs on January 20 last year (right after Dumbledore got attacked).

I just did a quick candle of some eggs. I will be making some Substitutions tomorrow. Ed is being pulled for bad pitching, and the Maran rooster will be joining Ed in the bull pen. I need rooster with some sex drive that can hit the target.

I know you know - that was for anyone reading this thread for info (like I did when I was first starting). 

Lol, you guys say I'm good but I'm not, I've only been incubating a little over a month (my first eggs went in on the 21st of December) I still have SO MUCH to learn.

Banty, If you have been incubating for a year and nothing is hatching, just give it up and throw the eggs out, Try again next year..
