EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Yes breaker worked for flashlight instance, but when the GFI outlet kept tripping occasionally few times a week and we just kept resetting it the breaker never tripped. Being the wire was loose in the breaker it was arking and heating up melted it back four inches. If it went much further it would have been melting on dry wood it's stapled to.

Wow that was far too close.

Im assuming the electrician tighten wires on all other breakers. Especially if you have any aluminum wiring.

When I moved in here the breakers were old so I had an electrician friend come over and replace the sub panel. There was an electric heater here which I replaced with a propane heater well the heat and air guy did. The breaker for the heater was a 70 amp Zinsco breaker when my friend showed me what was left of it we were both amazed the house didn't burn down. The plastic between the bars had melted out about the size of a silver dollar. There was nothing left protecting each leg of the breaker.

I have found, and I know this is antidotal, the more feed you give them the more poop you make.

I think it is like vitamins in humans when you take more than you can use and the body can absorb you just pass it through.

To a certain degree CX are like that. They have such an unbelievable metabolism and make such good use of the feed they do not need as much as a person thinks. So a ton passes through.

Also with more feed you get so many ailments. However, I should note I do not try to get a meat bird in 6 weeks. I like to go longer for a bigger stronger bird that does not have that "mushy" texture a store bought one has.

I did the first batch I got like the "directions" say and was extremely displeased with them, dying weak birds I had to process at 42 days as they were dying of ascites, heart and kidney problems.
These were 9wks and largest was 4.5 lbs oh wow, when we processed there was only one with the water sack filled around the heart, and it was only 3 lbs, I thought weight did that and struggling with it? Did I mention my freezer took a crap and my entire family was eating chicken for two weeks, older sons families too. Lesson learned there, check freezer at least every two days!! uggggg lost so much beef and venison, at least the catfish at the gun club where fed good with beef livers I had a stash of them, and heart and tongue ugggggg

Mine were texture deficient which is why I didn't like them. Also not enough exercise food was not 24/7 and water was too close. If I do them again I'll try what you did.

Good morning Sally

How is your daughter feeling?
still hurting pain went from 5 half a day back up to 7 and 6 today. Peds Gastro Specialist for her Tues.

your not gonna believe this one, after sending a not so nice and demanding message to her family doc he replied he thinks its migraines and ordered her meds, sooooo these meds are prednisone 20 mg x2 day! tell me a kid has same exact pain four weeks and its migraines? yes she has tons of headaches right now but ugggggg I responded not too nice and I got this.....

This could be the reason. Just as a migraine can last days or weeks daily. I also sent in an antibiotic just in case we are missing an infection. I would hope by Monday she is better or we may have to talk to Hershey about sending her back to the ER with the diagnosis of failed outpatient pain control.

I still check my freezer almost daily due to your experience. If I don't hear it I open it for the light.
