Dodged a bullet last night. Fell asleep on the couch and neglected to close the run up. I never close the pop door on the coop and just keep the run secured. Made it out this morning before anyone came off the roost and appeared all were well and secure. Closed the run up and started my day. Pretty sure something was around last night due to the fact the resident but wild geese were in the pond going crazy around 3:30 when the wife woke me up to make bottles. Didn't even think about the chickens just heard the geese.

IT is 266 degrees here today!!! I love it headed to 277 degrees!

Hopefully in the future you can. I know you can't tell by the way I control and contain my excitement about Toads, but I so love them and so want them to be everyone's future sustainable meat bird.

I live in a 130 year old house and I keep it toasty in here....Of course with the warm glow of my personality it is hard for it to be cold........e

If you're relying on your personality to keep it toasty, it's gonna be about as warm as Elsa's room.... Just saying.

well its much warmer there than here, i woke up to 4* and my phone said it felt like -12*

I would use the real temp scale, but we have a certain "Icelandic human" here that debates the validity of the F being the real temp measuring standard...

I just looked at the forecast on my phone, I might get a week with no frozen eggs! I so want that. I am tired of 75% of my eggs being killed by the cold.
