you could, or just pop the tops and be ready to moisten membranes, because they all *could* be shrinkwrapped

keep an eye out for veins, stop if you see blood

IT is 266 degrees here today!!! I love it headed to 277 degrees!

Good idea, Tricky to do, but it could work, At this point anything is worth a try.


OK the 85% at 52 is not a problem, it is a function of temp it will go down as temp come up. That high humidity might just save the eggs.

I also bought some off of Craigslist. I bought 6 from a guy that sold them to me for 25 each if I bought them all. They aren't as advanced as the Bushnell but I couldn't pass it up. The way my place is set up, I need a bunch of cameras.

I think dax has a cold house. My upstairs is about 62F most of the time.

My bedroom is typically 56-58* It's not easy living in an old house. Duckling's room can't get below 65*. Then I do something about it.

When I was out of town, the person caring for chickens and dog dropped the ball on the incubator and chicks.
She didn't get the lid back on squarely and it was 94F the last 5 days of incubation and some hatched a couple days late. I was going to clear it out yesterday but I still heard peeping. Couldn't tell which egg it was coming from. I'll float test this morning.

Ok, maybe alls not lost, I was (carefully) removing the membrane on the unpipped egg and it opened its eye and looked at me.

Hopefully in the future you can. I know you can't tell by the way I control and contain my excitement about Toads, but I so love them and so want them to be everyone's future sustainable meat bird.

I live in a 130 year old house and I keep it toasty in here....Of course with the warm glow of my personality it is hard for it to be cold........

Morning Abi. Thanks for coffee. Speaking of coffee and caffeine I was at doctor yesterday when asked what pills I took I told them nothing but a multiple vitamin. They then looked up the ingredients checking for caffeine. I had no idea vitamins would have caffeine. Mine didn't
