oh its in full swing, along with a very large grin from ear to ear.....   oh wait thats my surgery scar     Did I mention I had no idea they would do it from the front and make me look like Frankenmommasita?  yeah well go me, kids are lovin my new name. 


I feel your pain whites, feel like been beaten in the back of the neck with a shovel and slit from ear to ear....   but its all for the better good, its eight days now, I finally have laptop on my lap, although its gonna be short lived because seems my upper arms say oh no momma, you just get your tush back to that bed stat

Looked like that shovel got used to slit your neck too

Piggy is doing good - She got a bath and some cocoa butter oil rubbed onto her skin to help dryness. Goats are doing good. Piggy is slowly warming up to me.

yeah not very precise slicing was it but hey, learning hospital, what does one expect from thems with milk on their lips.

I have to say, between the codene and pain I have had some nightmares from this surgery, most involve loosing my head in some sort of way.

Won't have the available man hours to deal with milking and baby goats. So after you lose your head does it roll down a hill?

ok here is my update, not sure how the rest of the day will treat me, but I was here

2 cervical anterior discectomy and then plates and fusion c3-7 my issue is currently that surgery has screwed up my ability to swallow solid foods, I choke on the simplest liquids too. A rare occurrence for this but if it is gonna happen it would be me of course. steroids and rest, time will heal.


with that, I am heading back into my cool wormhole to sleep the day away

Twins had 4 month shots back a few days ago, growing like crazy.

Have a hatch in progress, 11 out and 5 pips of 37 that went into lockdown all my mixed flock(the eggs from the leghorn hens seem to be having some issues/fertile and showed good development but not making it out like the brown egg mutts).

Ordered stuff to build the huge display cooler bator I picked up back awhile ago, after much consideration and debate I decided to follow your praises and go with a wafer thermostat.
