I also pray for you both to lean on Him and be the best parents you can be. Blessings to your family as it changes. Rejoicing in his gift of children which He says are a reward. May you find strength in Him. The Lord watch over and guide you all. I also pray they will be healthy, strong, and young to sleep through the night. Anyone with experience using the 1583 model hovabator have to increase ventilation to keep temps even? I know it's crazy looking but I cleaned out and set up my bator prior to my eggs arriving and this seems to be what it wants to stay steady, and I've dared DH to touch that pencil under threat of death lol

Try filling jars with water, and putting on a lid. It will help steady the temps. As will adding clean rocks. I think heat sinks are part of the article on the first page.

It is a small job they are not in a hurry to get to. It has also rained part of yesterday with threats today which puts more water back in the clay and rock hole I dug three weeks ago now and have bucketed out a couple of times because they thought they were coming. I am so tired of promises, and buckets for the toilet

Howdy folks. Been busy getting things set up for the winter launch. Got new names for the soaps and finalized the designs.




Minter: The sweet peppermint soap. Going to try to do a dark bar with white clay and zinc specks in it, make it look like snow flurries.
Wassail: Mulled wine, going to have a deep red color from the added wine and orange slices embedded in the top (along with star anise pods).
Christmas Morning: The fir and cinnamon scented one will be pure white with rosemary needles topping the bar.

My soaps came in the mail yesterday. They are awesome! The only problem is my daughter is trying to steal them all from me!

I have used a shovel and a log for a toilet but never a bucket 

No the bucket is for the water in the tub to flush the toilet. Though I keep a bucket with kitty litter and bags in the storm shelter for an emergency potty.
