Sugar beet pulp allows animals to be on full feed and reduces the danger of bloating and digestive disturbance. For show animals, sugar beet pulp has a cooling affect and enhances the bloom of the coat for best appearance, and when soaked in water it provides succulence in the ration. Sugar beet pulp provides a variety in feed rations, firm's stools for cleaner pen operation and allows for increased feed intake.
Helps reduce BLOAT!! all good news for these critters!! Thanks dax! @daxigait
. Mine are on pasture most of the year. In the winter I feed mostly praire hay, some alfalfa, and a mixed grass hay. Sometimes they get some of the horse Bermuda. I mix it up since as foragers they like variety. I keep it covered, and scoop out what they don't eat/like and throw that to the cows.
