EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Um, no, and regardless, it's not like what they're doing makes sense. They just have this "Ice/snow = bread/milk/toilet paper" loop running in their heads.

(No, folks down here often don't stock up on stuff. I do, but I'm weird like that.)

People are weird.... I've never bought stuff before a storm before that wasn't my usual shopping coz I like fresh greens.

If the worst came true and a blizzard kept me stuck for a month (unheard of) I have half a cow in my freezer... So I ain't starvin.

I'm fading myself. See you all on the flip side!!!

Need advice... egg is day 22 and has had a hairline crack for two days. No movement noticeable. Is there something wrong?

Hard to say. It may well have died if no progress for 2 days. Did others hatch ok?

I am not a fan of assisted hatches, but you wanted to you could make a small hole in the shell where the beak is along the hairline crack and see if it is still alive.

Yes, but it's my first hatch. I don't really know what I'm looking at. I don't see movement though. Should I make a little hole in air sack?
