So MC (The one who's pip is right next to the small end) has the tip of her beak sticking out and has been nibbling and at the shell and has made a little progress (She has another big piece of shell on the ground). I'm wondering, since she pipped wrong, what are her chances of survival?

I haven't any experience there though it sounds like she/he is zipping which is a good sign

she still has a good chance, it all depends on how determined she is to survive and get out
or if the time comes to it if you feel you need to assist

I hadn't looked in the 'bator for awhile so I walked in and THERE'S A MAGPIE DUCKLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
since she hatched today her name is patricia! I AM SO HAPPPY!!!!!!!!!! (So happy that I spelled happy wrong..)

I can't believe I missed It! I'm am hereby glued to the 'bator! And guess which one it was? MD the one who kept rocking!
