Thank you. I have another chick that has broken a hole and is peeping occasionally. Am I risking his safety by getting the other out?
No problem. This is Missouri and to be expected but it gets worse every year. Winters that never happen and then hard spring freezes.... - didn't mean to rub it in. These are my first apple trees, so I'm excited.![]()

Hard to say but when I have very late hatchers, they usually don't make it.I guess I need advice again. My Welsummer egg that pipped 28-30 hours ago, in the middle of the shell, has not changed. During the day yesterday it was rocking a bit, but I don't see movement today. It never actually broke through the shell, so it has never peeped. Does this mean it's still ok to leave alone? There's just a small, rounded crack. Thanks for advice...
What kind of duck?It is day 31 by the way

No juzt filling her lungs and empting them a lot. No yawning
I would rather save them all! My kids are on them like hawks! You know, that doesn't too good...I mean it's spring break and their eyes are glued to these eggs. Their mama chickens' first hatch.
If you want a place Climate change is not happening and winters still are, move north a couple states... I pray for and help climate change at every trun and it does not happenNo problem.
