EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

:yiipchick

Everyone "should" be there once in a while. Especially if they are up early. You are the first I saw, so therefore the first in line. Besides, it gave me the chance to fill your mug with beer instead of coffee!
:hugs
Woo hoo!!
:yesss: about the hatch. Boo about them being crazy.

It's only day 25

Guess who's on the wall for all of April?

Swimming is my favorite kind of exercise. I keep threatening to save up to get one of those endless pools (with the current motor), but care and tending of a pool daunt me. Maybe one day.
MIL is visiting this week.

Quote: I think 65F is excellent swimming weather, if you're talking laps. Colder is better (I tend to do distance sets when I swim).

Almost all Big mama's eggs have internally pipped!

I've got 10 chicks and 9 eggs left, 1 is pipped. I put the 8 fluffiest in the brooder because they were acting a little cannibalistic.

Well, it took way longer than I had hoped, but I FINALLY got the grow out tractor done and got the second set of chicks outside this evening. Just came in from dismantling the pig pile and placing them on the roosts. I am EXHAUSTED! My computer is repaired, but they close at 9pm and the timing was too tight (I was also worried about my vigilance on the road) - I'll go pick it up tomorrow.

Currently watching Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them again - we'll see how long I last before I totally crash.

Kristen, swimming is pretty fun except for when x-large hairy spiders float over your shoulder.... No spideys in a rink. :D

I would surely give you my pool if there was a way to move it to Texas. :lau

Those two have hatched now. I had a snake wrangling to handle. I helped one, just finished the zip and let it do the rest. I know some don't, but I'm a meddler. I tried to wait til the good zipper was finished, but its zip started going brown as well. It came out on its own while I was shooting.

Glad they hatched. What kind of snake. Snakes are just coming out here.
