Not sure, whites. Depending on the broody she might set, might kick it out, might kill it, and might eat it.

My personal inclination would be to let them both be; let Nature decide. That's just me.

But I want to know WHY so I can learn if it's something I did wrong, or just a weird thing.

What makes one look like this? And one look like this? They're within a few inches of each other.

Are the rest hatched?

Those two have hatched now. I had a snake wrangling to handle. I helped one, just finished the zip and let it do the rest. I know some don't, but I'm a meddler. I tried to wait til the good zipper was finished, but its zip started going brown as well. It came out on its own while I was shooting.

so five atleast.yes I cought three withing 15 minutes she was first and just missed one bigger with a blue and black jig and cought one on a red and white spinner bait

if u would see her belly it's fat.would it be there spawning couse in the same spot all day I cought four and missed three

I've got 10 chicks and 9 eggs left, 1 is pipped. I put the 8 fluffiest in the brooder because they were acting a little cannibalistic. :/

Everyone "should" be there once in a while. Especially if they are up early. You are the first I saw, so therefore the first in line. Besides, it gave me the chance to fill your mug with beer instead of coffee!
