EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

So, I can eat duck eggs, even with an allergy to chicken eggs - what are the odds I could safely eat a turkey egg? My hubby asked me, and I wasn't sure LOL

That's a lot better than the prices on the website.

I shot Nikon when I used to play around in photography but when it came to point and shoots, I preferred Canon. Easier, more user friendly controls and larger, clearer screen.

Okay guys, I would like your opinions on a good camera under say $200 for my trip. I would like it to have the ability to take panoramic photos as well as regular, a decent zoom, and night capability. I apologize to the real photographers that wouldn't consider any camera of that price any good. I have to stay on my budget though.

I've been really fond of Olympus for a while with good lenses and can be point & shoot or have lots of other settings.
I'm sure you could get a real good one used on Ebay for less than 200.

I was in a photography club for awhile. let me send a message to one of my friends to see if anyone has any equipment that the want to get rid of in that price range to upgrade. When is your trip again? and also what size camera are you looking for? some of the better ones tend to be a bit heavy.
My trip is in August. I am backpacking so weight is at a premium. I don't have to have the fanciest camera I just want to be able to take better photos than my cell phone can and be able to get distance seen right. My sister likes the cannon I think on Amazon I will look it up but it is a little more than I wanted to pay. Blackout we're having a big storm here

We got a Kodak with the Shneider lens about 7yrs ago? $200 Took awesome pics, zoom was great. I took pics at two different weddings BIL's and then a friends. Developed and gave the pics to them. They both said and I agreed, my pics were better that the paid professional photographers with their big expensive camaras pics and I was well behind them most the time.
One major drawback on it though, when you purchase check the reviews. The camera ate the lithium batteries aweful. I think the problem was the the lens would come out every time you turn it on. They probably make them a lot better now anyway. We didn't use it much cause of the cost of the batteries. Even tried the most expensive rechargeables, had to carry a few sets of them cause they would last long.

Canon PowerShot sx700 HS digital camera
My sister took this one to Germany when she went to hike in Europe
