yeppers, make a tray that would essentially hold the eggs in the same place. the plate underneath would turn and rotate the eggs. It could take some tweaking to get it right but I think very doable.

Plastic canvas would be easy to work with to make the tray.

I changed out the wafer. If I get it set I will open and hand turn the first batch. But am already digging around the house for a motor to use for a turner.

Got the bunk bed thing put together and it's functional now. Need to finish sanding, painting and put the wood into place for the "headboards"

Kid slept in it the last few nights, she likes it.

As I said, still needs work, trim, paint, etc... but it's slowly getting there.

I have an egg problem.... ~200 eggs to set and less than 100 spots in big Betty (brinsea)

Thing is most are not mine so get priority

Went with setting 120 (with some double stacking), keep 50 till after the HAL eggs hatch and free up a tray.
The rest mostly (ayam cemani x leghorn and svart honas) went into monster scrambled eggs for all (including the dog) and some in the fridge.

wow! thats a lot of eggs, stinks that you couldnt set them all
i have the opposite problem
i get 1-2/day

That's awesome. I miss the trails in Alaska. This part of North Carolina is too flat. Couple hour drive for decent hiking around me.

Tossed some broccoli and a pineapple from the back of the fridge to the Chooks. The broccoli is gone but they have not even touched the pineapple. In fact they seem to be giving it a wide berth. Is it something they should not eat?

@DwayneNLiz it's very lively and LOUD. I gave it a supervised visit with a hatchmate yesterday and it just beat the other one for two minutes. So now it's alone again.

Ok, thank you. I will will take your advice, and do just that. Just curious, as I am not familiar with the whole current/electricity thing, why does it do that? Is it just your car battery giving it too much here and there or is it faulty chinese made equipment?
