Nice. By the time my ducklings hatch next month I won't even need a heat lamp on them.
Oh, you poor dears...

I went to the broodies and candled all (i think I got them all) eggs. I only had one clear :yiipchick out of all 20 eggs. They are at the stage were the are swimming around so that they kind of appear then sink back in. I then went to the main duck house to fill up the feed and...(Oh how I "LOVE" mice") My reaction?

on a good harvest. I have a few rats I've been going after.OK, I'm telling you now that you are.
Anything else I can help you with this evening, Ma'am?
My friend has put out some water for the pheasant. She wants to put out feed - what should she get? Is game bird feed by Mannapro ok? (She bought Layena.)
I would think game feed would be fine.
We only had one day of snow all winter. 80's today, 90's tomorrow
whoops
Do you usually have it? Sounds like your in Texas. 80* to 90* for us next week. If this wind sticks with us there's going to be a lot of dead plants.
When we first came here, 44 yrs. ago, it'd start snowing in December & many times we didn't see the ground 'til April. Largest snow we've had was 3'; Washington's B'day, '83. Until last winter, I hadn't fired up the snow blower in 3 years. Never can tell what's going to happen.
