Hello, I have a broody buff brahma. She's been sitting on the nest for 3-4 days. I was cleaning her nest the other day and when I picked up the eggs they were warm and not very hot. I thought they would be a higher temperature than they were. What temperature should the eggs be?

Thanks Mike! Hopefully whatever is wrong will be treatable/fixable. And it won't cost me an arm and a leg.

I hope it's treatable and not expensive too.

I forgot to lockdown the serama in the new bator, needed to move them into the cooler hatcher, I can just talk to myself a while I guess. I am dumb the majority is pipped, dumb dumb dumb they are in the cooler and the cooler is now trying to get to temp. oh well, I should have just taken them out and given them all to the two broodies sitting in the same nest for three weeks I guess. but what do I do with them after they hatch? :he

After they hatch put them in a brooder, with heat, or give to broodies. You're not dumb.

Warm would be right, they should be about 100*F
