My dog is a shorthaired collie mix.. She's great with everything else, she'll even leave a pot with meat in it alone while I walk out of the room if I tell her to wait. She just won't behave with chickens.That's what I like about collies. They're super eager to please and they don't require a lot of punishment to get a point across. Nico's a bit stupid sometimes and looks at the bird shady (for which I have to remind him to "leave it") but Jaeger is either smart enough to not chase it or too lazy too.

Lovely.Ah. XD Mine are longhaired rough collies with showdog pedigrees, and a really strong herding instinct. Might just be my dogs then. I can always threaten Nico with his harness if he misbehaves, he hates putting the thing on.
