:smack They wrote the song, silly. And age is not the only thing they have in common with you - they also prefer younger women!:D

Well, you could just repeat the word several times in a row, but the right way is to hang an "s" on the end.

One "S" for each plant...So 40 acres of them would read:

hopssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss?

@BantyChooks I say we all chip in and send Ralphie some ducks...
How many? I say 2 dozen.

Got it , that plant that go in the beer!

Could you please, Kind Sir, describe "chilly" with a number off the Fahrenheit scale that most describes the "chilly" this morning term?
:lau

I'm not seeing the chilly part here...

Okay duck folks, I haven't hatched ducks before and I Need to! So, which breeds are the most interesting/colorful? It's so fun to hatch in variety. I know it sounds petty. But still, it's so fun... my Christmas.
Ancona, Welsh harlequin, and the Swedes are fun too.

Being snowed in is actually relaxing. It is a forced vacation by Mother Nature. Everything comes to a standstill, even the chooks! Watching snow fall is relaxing in and of itself.

The key is having decent equipment to move the snow after the storm ends.
X2. As long as you don't think about the 2,000 kilogrammes of snow you're going to have to move afterwards it isn't so bad.

Me... I just have a shovel. :hit

Thank goodness I can con the kids into doing some of it for me. I say they're old enough to earn their keep, eh.

Yep, I can take as many as you can send,,,,,right now the crematory is empty and I have enough wood and paper feed sacks for a week or two of operation....:caf
That's not what you do with a dux!!

You could try getting the S&Gs - once we got past the shipping fiasco, they have been great so far, large and friendly.

Oh, I should have done my homework - for some reason I thought they were feather-legged. (Then again, we determined that my extra ameraucana chick with feathered legs - Goodwin - was in the end not really pure.) That makes things a lot easier - Ameraucanas, here I come!!!! (Anyone know of a good source for large ones?)

(Just taking a break for the kitchen for some muesli...)

I want silver AMs (LF) by 2020 or so. They're just beautiful---looking at pictures of them makes me smile. I'm hoping to be mainly Chanteclers and Ameraucana eventually. Few mutts, of course, because who can resist?

Eilleen thanked me later for getting you out of the way. She was getting quite tired of the 1,000s of letters that poured through her letter slot---all from you.

I need volunteers to come lug large stones for me to cover the run perimeter with....

Someone?

Anyone?

No?

Guess I better get going again... Sigh.
