Hi everybody. Rough day today-sleep and pain. so much to do but can't. Bill got both coops cleaned, the garage cleaned and organized and now the basemen cleaned-with a week He is awesome @Pensmaster & @Fire Ant Farm I got some naked necks. Just hatchery stock (I saw Snape and Puppy and fell in love ) Got them and a couple other breeds from Strombergs and I have to say I was very happy with them. Sent 5 extra chicks and they are all extremely healthy. Want to do stuff but its not gonna happen. They did say Sunday is the day of rest right? @daxigait & @kajira sorry for your losses & @duluthralphie I can completely agree-its always the "good bird" hat seems to kick the bucket with no explanation . Hope everyone else is well.

Doing ok here. Glad Bill can do stuff for you. Been a day of rest as well here. Mostly. Need to get fencing up around the new garden area and find where chicks are getting out from broody but other than that not much else going to happen.

I know if I hurry I can get some stuff done before becoming snow bound. Or lunch time which ever comes first.

It is 88 right now here... I am going to die in this heat.. I am not enjoying this one little bit..

If I take any more clothes off I will be spending 90days or so in a nice Air conditioned cell, so there is that to think about...It might be worth it.

Poor you... Does the cell have wifi? If so, might be worth it.

Welcome. He looks awful pale, have they been wormed or checked for mites recently? He's sure handsome though.

I had a boy that had similar problems... He died of heart issues, I think.

He actually does have mites. I just dusted him with DE yesterday and he still had the DE covering his feathers. I'm thinking of putting a clove of garlic in his water too. I'm just wondering if this breed is super clumsy. How long does it take for his comb and waddles to come in? He was given to us I do know he came from Omega hills. I'm just not familiar with this breed. I've heard that they are really slow to mature.
