EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

So - we are officially having twins for now. Unless we have vanishing twin, we should see heartbeats by friday-next week. I go friday and then again wed for follow ups for better measurements and to find a heartbeat.

Doctor down here is super awesome. I just wish he could deliver me, but hospital down here won't allow vbacs, or twin deliveries. :(
Awesome! Great news for you!:clap
Will be praying for you and your babies.
So very glad it's you and not me though:oops: I am done raising kids.

Harry Potter? :p

Library tomorrow... I'm gonna 'splode. Haven't managed to convince anyone to tell me what happens yet.

ETA: I did know that about the bruises. Sorta neat, huh?

Nope - Dr. Strange. Get thee to the library! STAT!!!!!

I found out about the bruises when Dumbledore was attacked by dogs. I was afraid his wounds were getting infected because they were turning this weird turquoise color. But it was just bruising around the deep wounds that developed a day or two later. Later, one of my Cream Legbar girls had a turquoise earlobe that weirded me out until I realized it was injury related. Today when processing, I found that Mr. Grey must have gotten a nasty whack on the wing - blue bruise. Mr. Orange had a body-long scrape that was likely from being forced against the hardware cloth. Poor fellas.

Glad you got it over with and relaxing now! I thought everyone did the scalding thing. I've only done it twice though so . . what do I know lol

Well, I have Naked Necks, and had dry plucked before - not bad with a NN if it's just one bird, but more than that is too hard on the hands.

:clap Sorry you can't deliver down there, but glad there is local doctor that is good. :thumbsup

If you could ask around for a twin friendly, vbac friendly OB - I'd appreciate it! I'm going to be struggling to find one who will do both.
