What was the temp. And the humidity in the incubation and lockdown?I had 11 hatch out of 17.
2 were empty and 6 were dead in shell fully developed.. why is that?
I sure don't want the vampires nervous with a needle in their hand. They miss the veins enough as it is, w/o any help.I actually get a kick out of going for blood work and needles. I like to watch them insert the needle. I've learned to ask first now if they mind. I think it makes them nervous.
Sadistic - Check.

And that's pretty much what we do. It's a really nice coffee shop with its history back going way back. You have a "fraiday Parlment "?
It is very common here to see freinds, especially retired, seating in coffee shops or restorants on Friday or Saturday and talk politics, and milions other subjects.
Here it's called the coffee shop or coffee row....every mid morning and mid afternoon. We don't go but our older relatives do. Sometimes our son goes with friends from school. And that's pretty much what we do. It's a really nice coffee shop with its history back going way back.
Yea now that's weird teeth cleaning I tolerate.I actually get a kick out of going for blood work and needles. I like to watch them insert the needle. I've learned to ask first now if they mind. I think it makes them nervous.

Nice on the Shamo chickens. What age will the be? Chicks?Hey everyone! What have you all been up to? My incubators have been off for at least 6 weeks now and I finally just moved the rest of the brooder babies out to the main coop. I've got some chicken subtraction to do in a few months :/
The meaties get butchered next week (37 of them). Thankfully, we're borrowing a plucker from some friends.
I have an order of poults from Porter's turkeys coming very soon and it looks like I'm getting a couple Shamo chickens in about a month to cross with my CX lol. THAT will be interesting!
