@mlm Mike My little Kiko cross doeling was alive last night when I got home
I can only hope and pray that she continues to improve. She is still bottle jawed, but up and eating.
So far so good, the temp and humidity has remained consistent. Extra sensor reading at 103.2 in the center (I have no eggs in that area) and the incubator reading at 99.5. Small fluctuations in humidity reading at 31-41 %. I have the bator wrapped lightly in clean pad that I use for my puppies, to prevent any air or bright light out. I'm keeping log of everything I do, even if its re positioning the fan in room, (not blowing on bator, but for temp monitoring) so I hopefully can look back and learn. And today is day 5!!
When I candle on day 7, should I take all the eggs out at once to view? Thanks for
Fresh Air needs to circulate in and out of the Bator to deliver fresh oxygen to the developing embryos so you can't cover all the ventilation holes. So far so good, the temp and humidity has remained consistent. There are a few at the bottom that remain uncovered, but I can adjust to let more in, I have just added the covers so hopefully that won't have an negative impact.Fresh Air needs to circulate in and out of the Bator to deliver fresh oxygen to the developing embryos so you can't cover all the ventilation holes.
