I am going to take a huge step in my recovery today... I am going to go mushroom hunting. I hope to walk maybe a 1/2 mile. BUT we will see how that goes when I get there....It could be 100 ft.

As I have said in some occasion, do you have in your state the legal oprtunity to get a medical prescription for medical marijuana?
I know from some people here that it makes wonderes in chronic pains.

My lawyer has advised me against it because although legal in my state-federally it is not. Also, we have to file suit against workmans comp and some conservative judges and dr's still look unfavorably upon it. My Physical med and rehab Dr. and occupational therapist have either suggested it or stated they are not at all opposed to it but it would be one more bill and one more reason for workman's comp to find a reason to deny treatment. I did order CBD tincture and cream and my husband will try it as he has Crohns and needs bilateral shoulder replacements. it will be my "last resort" when workmans comp is done running me over the coals!

It appears you have figured out Workman's comp while claiming to protect workers actually protects insurance companies and employers from the damages they really cause to a person...

Still a lot more swamps to drain IMHO..

It appears you have figured out Workman's comp while claiming to protect workers actually protects insurance companies and employers from the damages they really cause to a person...

yup I am being penalized by getting less than half my pay because comp takes the last 39 weeks of earnings. I stayed contingent to help out if had a day off when they needed help. there were some weeks I didnt works there as I was on full time midnights at a different ICU and still had my salon. but they dont take that into account because according to my attorney "the law is poorly written". Not to mention all my treatment has been delayed which has set me back and allowed my disease to progress and spread to my right hand as well. I was also told in front of the dr by the case manager that my adjuster "does not care for am and I might want to get a lawyer if I do not already have one" What a joke! Nothing to protect the worker that was saving someone elses life only to sacrifice hers

I sleep where I fall asleep. Never had o sleep in a chair-a lot of couch or bed but so hard to get comfortable.

That's awful... I don't get how the lawmakers and high-up people can be so indifferent towards an employee's health, or lack of it.

I dropped out right after the new format. Like it but need to get some pratice. Been super busy. .5 acre garden, 30 acres of hay, birds galore. I popped on cause I have an issue. New baby quail chicks with leg paralysis. I have 1 every other hatch, then one a hatch and it just gets worse. Been going on for 20-30 hatches and now I have 4. Looks like Mereks but I did not think Mereks was transferred through the egg???
