I bought wasp poison aerosol spray the other day at TSC. When checking out he asked my birthday, I asked why. He said people sniff anything aerosol, I'm like that's nuts, this is for killing things.

Good question. I need more time to get the coop built, but all of a sudden the leaves are turning and summer has lost its teeth... I don't know how on earth I am going to get the coop cleared soon enough. Going to take several more weekends.

If it were that simple, I would.

I am waiting on a trailer and hitch so I can haul non-burnable materials to the dump, plus permits for burning the rest. All of that has been set in motion and now I have to wait.

Plus, I still have to make the rugrats do school. I can sit here on BYC keeping an eye on them and answering questions. I can't go outside and leave them---they'd never get anything done.

Hello Pensmaster! I don't know how you take the triple digit heat. It's up to 54*F with 91% humidity, supposed to get rain sometime today.

I'm actually completely tired of it this year. Too many days straight triple digits gets to me. When I saw the forecast I almost lost it well ok I did lose it.

We were watching a re-run episode of "Alaska-The Last Frontier" last , & Axe (sp.) Lee was burning a hornets' nest in the roof of the chicken house, with a propane torch. Had I not already seen it once, I'd have thought the chicken house was going up in flames.

I believe the past winter or coming winter has something to do with it. Lots of folklore with the acorns size and the weather.
