ok so I have done reading for 4 nights waiting on the 7 day candling of the 25 eggs in our incubator. I'm still a little confused on things such as the mysterious humidity. I am dealing with shipped eggs that I didn't candle till 3 days. at 3 days the air sacks on the silkie eggs were attached so I started turning then. The size was not to far off from the 7 day candling pics on pg 1. slightly smaller on most and 2 had very small air sacks.
Am I thinking right that we are running between 35-40% again and if air sacks are larger than they should be tomorrow night. then to retard air sack I should run a little higher humidity? I do know that the eggs were at least a week old when I got them. so I would have enlarged air sacks cause of age.
I did manage to find a recommendation in all those links that talked about turning. what I understood was set them to turn once a hour. hows that compare to what everyone else is doing?
