when the refer compressor turns on, the tv shuts off. i took a bath in 3 day old bath water and scoup the scum water out to flush the toilet. living large baby! today the county came to look at the blockage on the roads trapping us in. he hopped back into his aircondition vehical and went and had lunch

the county got the power on for country club of ocala, around the corner from here. 3 million dollar homes. and we cant get anybody to clear the trees so we can drive to survive. i wish we would have bought a home on the golf course in the woods instead of a farm in the woods.

I think this one is another Chickeneers Myth. There are lots of them.

Did you disinfect the air going into your 'bator?

Does not change the fact there are a lot of strange myths with chickens that many people swear by.

Yep! That was a good hair day. And I REALLY like those pants...very comfortable.

I give my Broodies worthless eggs (EE) to hatch and keep the good ones to myself. Broodies cannot be trusted, They decide to stop, they roll away good eggs. They are great mothers and an easy way to raise chicks, but they have their risks.

When I say reach into an incubator, naturally, I mean with a sterile latex glove,,,,,,Introducing "not that much" is more than I want to introduce. I hatch to the standards my USDA vet requires for NPIP and then a tad more.

I know some of you will find this odd but I got through over 10 gallons of Bleach year hatching and rearing chicks. This does not count the bleach I use in my normal chicken keeping.

I know someone on here thinks I am a tad anal about my hatching practices....Luckily she is MIA for a few days.... I think she said she would be back tomorrow...

I practice survival of the fittest once they hatch. It is just too easy for a bacteria to get a foot hold inside the incubators and lose 220 plus eggs in a fast swoop..

I could send you some good broodies that can be trusted and hatch all their eggs. All the eggs they can get their beaks on actually.

No, not strange or anal at all that you use that amount of bleach with that amount of eggs.*crossing fingers behind back* (cray cray alert)

In all seriousness...I do understand your "unique" situation with your toads etc and that you have to get them on the ground before you can be choosy. I was thinking about my lack of clarifying this when I was out doing chores after my post this morning.

I suppose you get a pass there.
But you do NOT get a pass dissing my wicked EEs.

4am yesterday we woke up to shattering glass. our neighbors who left town had thugs smash a bedroom window out. bob shoots his mossburg pump shot gun into the ground and they ran like roaches. sherrif says nothing they can do. bobby asked if they knew somone with a chainsaw while thwy crawled away thru the tree road block
