Light tan silkie and brahma eggs. they are light

We set 11 brahma there is 3 developing in there. We set 14 silkie and there are 11 developing in there all eggs were shipped. according to when they were set we should be on day 17 at 12pm today(that according to a app we used). humidity has been @30-35% and were thinking at day 18 to lock down at 60%RH.
how does that all sound?

 Sounds fine.
Just so you know..I have never hatched an egg so I would pay no attention to what I say here.

So... here we go! lets start over with a new program. Lost all my egg/bros when power was cut off. We have battery back up, but battery does not last 6.5 days. After soaking and disinfecting, acclimated yesterday and set today. Decided to run them both on the same schedule, v.s. Bi monthly hatches. Keeps me too busy. Getting too old to keep up with too much too often.
80 of "the best of the best", cleanest, desired shape/size and pre set candling inspection for shell quality.. Don't want no seeper contamination.
Mottled Java, RI Reds, Barred Rock & Sunflowers.
Back in the saddle again! WOOT WOOT!

Had plans to go get our meat freezers across town today, but the waterpump went out on trailer pulling beast. Bottom hose and various features have bobby swearing up a storm. Thats the kind of stuff you got to do in the early morning hours. WAY TOO HOT this time of day in Fl. I about heat stroked before lunch today moving a bunch of cut up Hickory tree logs. Was over heated and dehydrated. I threw in the towel for the day. At least until the Sun starts to set later.
Last night somebody smacked into the part of the tree they cut up slightly to restore our power. The utility crews just cut it up enough to free the lines and left an opening enough for their trucks to get thru. The Sherrif taped it off for safety purposes. One of our wonderful neighbors decides to drive thru it 20 mins after the sheriff left and snapped the tape off instead of going the long way out which is cleared. DSC00003.JPG DSC00002.JPG So when the sun went down, an unsuspecting motorist slammed into the hanging debris. Gotta love your neighbors! Right? No one hurt but the car got side swiped. I told the driver who to thank.. Never a dull moment living in the boonies..

The scourge!!! Same dang thing happened to us after our flood. Rats everywhere running over us. Arrgggh! rant.gif yell.gif

Good morning!! :frow

I have a question...you mentioned that your eggs are at day 15? I could be wrong...and I hope others chime in...but to me, they don't look as developed as they should be if they're chicken eggs.

*Unless seeing into the light shell is throwing me off...which it could be.:D
I set a app Sally mention on my phone when we set them on Friday Sept 1st at 12pm Mo time. According to app they were 15 1/2 days developed at last candling. I'll have to compare some to online pics cause we were looking to bump RH up to 60% tomorrow and pull the off turners and lock down tomorrow night. (Monday 12 pm is start of day 18.) We were a little worried cause we have read sometimes silkies hatch sooner. We do appreciate feedback cause were are new to this and these eggs mean too much too us to really be using our first go arround with a incubator.

 Sounds fine.

No problem we still know you've been around and are pretty knowledgeable.

Fed a bunch of crap to our pig/goats. lol Threw some crackers out for the rest of the birds to keep them busy/happy, too.
Am trying to deep clean the house - why is it my husband cannot seem to contain his mess to half of our closet, and 2 freaking work rooms - both of which, i'd LOVE to have for kid rooms, but he needs "that much space" with out a garage.

Is it completely unreasonable to keep his tools out of the kids reach by not piling them onto my show rack? I go over there and his tools and everything else is like stacked to the ceiling with no way for me to even locate my shoes to go outside. I gave my kid a job of sorting out shoes into pairs, and putting her dad's stuff into piles. Anything that's broke, or doesn't have a place, i'm throwing away. If his mess starts taking over the rest of my house, I'm going to lose my crap. I clean up far too much stuff on a daily basis, to have to worry about tools and lights in my shoes.

Ohhhhh those make excellent fly trap bait. So gladly clean them for you. :lau
Here's picture with what I hoped would be fix. It's the 90 right at the zip tie. They have constantly bent that part of the rod plate down to where I now have to bend it back every time there's a catch. Now after checking this picture it's actually where the plate attaches to the bottom of cage. Or both.
Bummer on the rats.
