so - my toddler has a cough - it's pretty congested sounding. I normally would just let it run it's course, but he's a micro preemie with bad lungs and diagnosed with chronic lung disease. So for him, it could go from a normal illness, to needing oxygen support and IV antibiotics pretty fast.

I kind of want to take him in to figure out what he has, so I don't have to worry about it. Hubby thinks it's a waste of a weekend copay and he can wait a day or two to see our doctor - problem is, the regular doctor makes us wait hours in a waiting room - and I'd expose countless pregnant women to whatever illness he has, since he'd have to share a waiting room with them for his pediatrician. (Our local OB shares an office with her.)

I know as a pregnant woman, I wouldn't want someone to bring a sick toddler and make me sick as a pregnant woman... so... Ugh! Decisions.

Tough one, but people know when they go to the doctor's sick people will be there.

Even with all the aches & pains that start about 45?
DW suffers from acid reflux; doc told her coffee & hot chocolate are bad when you have a.r. She told doc that she needs a jump start when she has to get up @ 0430. She told me that & I told her life ain't worth living w/o coffee Told her to step out onto the porch 1st thing & get her lungs full of cold fresh air; that'd give her a jump start.
Or she could go back to bed with me. She'd get a jump start & stay warm in the process.
She hit me!

30 degree weather? Man, my AC's still on at night lol

I'm going to pay attention this year...I don't think we ever turn our ac off.
I know that last 'winter' I may have turned the heater one twice..and only for about 10 minutes.
